When sleep in your eyes like a deluge,

I picked my pen and write to my depth

My pen is a roaming spirit within the four walls of my legitimate poky chamber

A writer with pomp and pageantry

My pen could wake the dead and cure the brokenhearted

I am the Shakespeare of our time

The Langston Hughes of the 21st century

I am your poet

Your metaphysical, psychological and philosophical poet.

Write.

I write to my depth

Pen is power

Power of the night only God can control

If you sleep you will sleep

If you wake you will wake

Write.

I write to my depth

I am your poetic monster,

The hands of fate no man can tame

Providence knows the path I take

He will judge every decision I make

This shadows and rays of hopelessness

Where will I hang it?

Because I don't need it.

Life is never a tragedy,

Neither a bed of roses

Life is what you make of it

Good or bad,

We will live to see its end

Who can control the speed of my pen?

The acceleration of my mental explosiveness?

Who can control my instincts?

My figurative insanity?

Am I not too hot to handle?

Too acidic and sulphuric?

I burn like hot coals

Highly inflammable like gas!

Am I not your nightmare?

Your poetic nightmare?

Can you have sex in a dream?

Can a child run a race?

Where is Usain bolt?

Where is Martin Luther king Jr?

Where is 2Pac Makavelli?

Hey! Where is Adejola Joseph?

Are these not talented heroes?

Dreams deferred will explode or ,

Run like a running nose or

Sags or,

Fester like a sore

I am not sleeping

Sleeping is for the weak

Strong men sex the night

And lust the morning and afternoon
