THE SOUND OF BREAK

The Sound of Break by Antipas Mede

Old kanta had one hand

He had a damaged liver

Old kanta hosted diseases and pains

He had no wife, children, nor money

He lived in an abandoned house

Old kanta had no visitors

Old kanta sold firewoods

How he managed to gather them I don't know

Kuho, kuho, kuho, old kanta

Old kanta always coughed

With a lit cigarette in his mouth

He was never well for once

Old kanta was born like every other child And begun life with a dozen kids

Old kanta did not follow life's right Pattern

Old kanta followed life's lite pattern And paid so painfully with his life

Old kanta was a thief

He was a drunk and drugs drum

Kanta for the girls, so he was called Kanta money, others called him

The dreaded kanta of all times

Is now the children's mock songs pit

Old kanta gulped great glory

From wrong poison bowls

Kanta glowed as the most outstanding young man

He was blown and played like a balloon. He gave people joy that played him

Till the sound of breaking came

Pop, it sounded once

And that face of fate faded

old kanta saw the glory of his equals Who had followed life's right pattern. What should he cry for now?

He has so many pains that make him cry

But you, why should you cry?

There is light at the end of the tunnel Only if you follow the right tunnel

Light at the beginning of the tunnel

Is just there to guide you

To the snake that will swallow you.
