‎Standing to bow at the gate of a single head,

‎When it is he who is in need of our help,

‎We bow to push for a leader,

‎Blinded by corruption while begging for crumbs,

‎Chanting to stand on his mandate,

‎He appears in need but forgets us upon fulfilment

‎

‎Is this the cause of his greediness?

‎Or our blindness?

‎Is this the so called democracy?

‎Why should we crawl in order to support a candidate,

‎Is this freedom, greed or blindness?

‎I wonder.

‎

‎We wait hours to get a glimpse....

‎Of a leader who remains clueless of our existence,

‎A leader who gathered pitiful tongues for his ambition,

‎Our voices, his stepping stone

‎While he lives in wealth and luxury,

‎Our tongues lose power,

‎

‎Though he sought to serve the interest of all,

‎The question arises,

‎Is this for the interest of all?

‎When a head ends up making most gains,

‎Than those who work for the achievement.

‎This modern politics calls for reforms!
