A Sightless

He lacked vision.

He dared not identify nature akin to himself.

He could effortlessly grope,

Just as if in darkness;

He immerses in solitude

Like a swimmer submerged beneath the river.

His crutch could guide him.

For a century

And unable to mislead;

As if it's the solace in his sight

He mourns and sometimes rejoices;

But no one knows.

When on a mission of economic survival,

He prays ceaselessly innumerable times;

And it seems his mouth would detach

from the ground.

He neither discerns good

Nor identify superior ones.

Of course not!

Since he is sightless.

This is a solitary plight.

For myopic victims

And it's in darkness their "Star"shines!
