When the Spirits Demand Justice.

When the Spirits Demand Justice.

The streets remember what the world forgets,

The ashes still breathe with unfinished regrets.

Beneath the smoke of burning cries,

The souls of the fallen still arise.

They came with hope across borders drawn,

Seeking tomorrow, pursuing dawn.

But hatred met them in crowded streets,

Where rage and fire became heartbeats.

The follies of South Africa now stand bare,

A wound of shame in the African air.

For hands once chained by foreign power

Have turned against their own in a bitter hour.

What blindness seized the brotherhood?

What poisoned pride consumed the good?

When black souls hunted blackened skin,

Humanity itself was slain within.

The dead were not merely bodies cast aside,

They were dreams and destinies denied.

Lives plucked unripe from destiny’s tree,

Victims of hatred and cruelty.

And until repentance floods the land,

Until remorse walks hand in hand,

Until apologies rise beyond men

To the ancient spirits watching again,

Peace shall flee from the nation’s gate,

For justice walks beside their fate.

The deities hear the widow’s cry,

And ancestral voices never die.

The spirits of those unjustly slain

Still wander through memory and pain.

Their blood has entered the soil too deep

For history itself to safely sleep.

Karma circles like a gathering storm,

Silent, patient, yet fully formed.

It looms around every wandering soul,

Waiting the hour to claim its toll.

For harvest time now draweth near,

And judgment whispers in every ear.

No nation rises through fear and hate,

Nor escapes the hand of moral fate.

Yet beyond the anger, a path remains,

A bridge to heal divided pains.

Let Africa remember she is one,

Bound beneath the same burning sun.

Let brotherhood rise where violence stood,

And cleanse the land with common good.

For until love restores what hate destroyed,

The cries of the dead shall fill the void.
