TRAPPED

I see your face through the window pane

the glass is cracked and your image is blurred.

Even from this distance,

I see your pain and I wonder if my tears my heard.

This window frame surrounds my dreams,

 the pane conceals my pain.

It seems as if the seams around this glass

get stronger everyday.

Keeping me away from the one thing

that makes my life worth living.

  You on the outside,

Staring at me on the inside.

 Reaching through this foggy view,

It's hard to see,  it hurts to know

we can't mingle, For there was a veil!

I'm trapped in here, you're waiting out there.

It's clear to us that fate don't care.

I'm trapped by these walls and you can't get in.

Unfortunately, I can see You, my destiny,

 but we can't begin.

You've tried to break through,

I've tried to break out.

I scream your name,

as you stand there in the might of Your creations

I need you in here, I long for Your touch.

All this pain, of Self Inflicted Nonsense!

It's just TOO MUCH!

I'm trapped in here, I've hindered You out there.

It's clear to us that fate don't care.

I'm trapped by these walls and you can't get in.

Unfortunately, I can see my destiny,

 But we can't begin.

I can't take this, not one more day,

our love is too strong, there must be a way.

So, we're standing here, face to face,

eyes locked through the window pane.

Suddenly, the Veil is torn!

You did it!

You raise your hands up to mine

and we smash that glass one last time.

Slowly, it starts to splinter down

and all the shards fall to the ground.

Now, we're trapped together,

 In each other's arms.

Trapped forever, away from harm.

Trapped in love for all time,

Trapped in love within our hearts.

Fortunately, I've found my Lover,

 Now we can start.

Inspired  by  (Face to Face), a song by Theophilus Sunday.

PAINFUL SMILES

Beauty is in the eyes of he who sees what's beautiful
That's what they say!
So when you look at me
You tend to say:

You may see a happy face
You may see a toothy grin
You may see a light in my eyes
But that is all a thin mask

I want to break down
I want to let it out
I want to stop acting like I'm fine
Because I'm NOT

Behind my smile is pain
In my eyes is a tiny spark of hurt
I hide it the best I can
Behind this daily mask

I want to break something
I want to scream for someone to hear
Will I try to bother someone?
No

I am a burden
I was made only to help
Not to stand in the way
It doesn't matter how I feel

I don't know why
Am I the only one that feels this pain?
Pain that makes you shake
Pain that hurts so much you CAN'T cry

I just want to be happy all of the time
God, why can't I be happy?
I'm tired of acting
I'm tired of saying I'm fine...

Pains are Beautiful!

(Reverse Poetry)

They hurt!

Pains are beautiful

Don't you ever think

You could think anything, but mahn!

Why endure pains then?

I've never loved hurts

When I yearn for joys

I'm on a mission

Even when I love what I desire

But I got what was available

Well, I have come to believe

Nothing but God lasts forever

Odds don't define me

My heart is what defines me
